It propels a small (3") motorcycle, which has a very sharp tip, a distance of about 8 inches across a smooth surface. Not much fun in that! I doesn't work at all on any type of carpeting, cement, or other rough surfaces. Chain restaurants give out much better free toys in their "kiddie meals".
