(More customer reviews)The only thing my nephew asked for this year is a "Power Ranger Shooting Thing". I didn't know what this was, and I did not ever realize that the Power Rangers were back on the scene, so I went online and typed in his exact words and this was one of the items that came up. I checked out all the items and decided that this was the most appropriate for him. Fortunately, I found it on Amazon for what I thought was a great price. It arrived right away and was packaged as new. On Christmas morning, this was the first and only thing he saw. He had to be convinced to open the other presents to see what else he got. I cannot determine the sturdiness yet because it is only two days after Christmas, but it seems to be a pretty neat "little boy" toy. I do like the clarity of the sound effects and the fact that it converts from blaster to sword (or "zord" --not really sure of the terminology). It is not a toy for families who forbid any gun or gun-like toys. My family does have restrictions, so I did check with his parents first.
