The shoulders and chest were padded nicely and it is providing him with many enjoyable hours of makebelieve. Today's kids don't seem to get into the pretense of superheroes like we did when I was growing up and it was nice to see a quality costume that is helping my grandson enjoy "being on the side of goodness".
