(More customer reviews)This review is for the Yellow Mystic Light Power Rangers Figure. It's part of the Power Rangers Mystic Force toy line. Power Rangers Mystic force is the newest breed of power rangers that use the powers of Magic to perform extraordinary tricks and spells.
Every year Bandai releases a set of power rangers figures with a neat feature, and this time they changed it around a bit, meaning instead of the feature being in the figure, the feature is in their weapon.
These new mystic force figures are called "mystic light" rangers because they come with a shield that lights up. The first few waves of figures came with shields that lit up a red light but after Bandai released figures where the Green, and Yellow ranger's shields light up a green and orange light which I thought was pretty neat.
One thing that I'm generally pleased with is the incredible paint job on these figures, they are nicely detailed unlike some of the figures from the past.
What you get is:
-a yellow ranger figure
-a silver shield with black and gold details
-a small golden mystic morpher that fits onto figure's hand
-a cross bow weapon that's grey with out any details.
Unlike the past power ranger figures, when you collect all of them you can't create any ultimate weapon or any thing which was rather disappointing.
The figure it self has great articulation in it's elbow, shoulder and knee joints, you can move their legs and hands not only back and fourth but side ways too. And the figure also comes with a neat cape that extends to the thigh region, A nicely detailed cloak and a holster where you can fit the weapon into.
As for the shield, the small mystic morpher and weapon clips onto the back, and it comes with a small handle for the figure to hold it. But it's highly unstable because it's too much weight for the figure's leg and there fore it tips over.
